When making good video content, the story must come first.

Working predominantly as an offline editor, my intuition is in crafting the narrative and communicating with the audience. I’m confident in my ability to contribute creatively to the projects I am involved with — rather than just be the hands on the keyboard — and to work independently on projects large and small. I’m particularly fond of editing doco-style and video journalism, as my journalism and storytelling skills can flourish there.

 

At university, I trained in both Premiere Pro and Avid, as well as having basic AE motion graphics skills and experience in online editing and dispatching for TV. Since graduating I’ve worked across TV, advertising, journalism, social media and documentary.
